My Beach Baby!

We hit the beach this weekend to enjoy Luke's first experience with sun, water, wind, sand and FUN! As usual, he took the events of the weekend in stride and enjoyed the beach to the max!

He dug in the sand with his shovel, crawled all over the sand and right into the waves. After getting cleaned up we spent afternoon at the much less messy pool :-). He also had fun there and shows no fear of swimming and even dealt with the "dunks" his Dad felt were necessary. :-)

We seriously enjoyed the weekend so much we were sad to head home.... BUT Dad did make the exception during our route and opted to let Luke experience the Ferry ride home.

We had a great dinner out on Saturday eating fresh seafood and I even partook in raw Oysters..... and all crashed hard upon returning home. Luke woke up early (5am) on Sunday morning... maybe thinking he had a trip back to beach in store, but after a bobo and a quick pep talk about sleeping in on Sunday and putting him in bed with us, he granted my wish of a lazy Sunday morning! We also had the pleasure of witnessing a wedding (right outside of our patio) on Saturday evening...... interesting to say the least.
