Phew! We made it through the home study process! The social worker says you think it's the hardest part but really the waiting is. :-( We had our house visit on Friday and it seemed to go well. Now she has to type up the report, send it to the agency for review and to file and after we get our profile complete and pay bookoos of money to the agency, we will be officially "parents in waiting"! Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support throughout the process. We are learning so much about how to be a good adoptive parent and it is really exciting stuff!
Chris is hunting again this morning and hoping to get "the big one" so we can have a peaceful Christmas- LOL! I am finishing up my shopping and pampering a bit with a pedicure this afternoon. Christmas cookies tomorrow, a few more days of work, then off to Beaumont Thursday morning!
Fisher is still trying to heal his 'hole in his paw'. We have decided after this saga is over to switch to a vet to closer to the house since he seems to be a regular patient!
