6 mth. appt.

Well, we had Luke's 6mth. appt. yesterday (even though he isn't official until next week) and all went well..... well, if you asked him he might not say that since he got 3 shots- this round included the flu vaccine! These were the worst so far and he turned the color of a ketchup bottle for about 20 seconds and refused to breathe! All was well thought after he had a bobo. Poor thing.... he was a bit cranky yesterday afternoon (after hanging with me and shopping on a BEAUTIFUL day) but managed to get to bed around 8pm and now I am up for no reason at 3am typing this blog.

He is right on track, doing all of the things he is supposed to be doing and growing up too fast! He is 16.8 lbs and 28 inches- so long and lean!

He took a bit of a virus so we haven't done as much solid foods this week but getting back on introducing new ones next week and increasing the amounts of solids this next week.
I have been busy making this house "Christmas friendly"! And boy it has been a job! We have wreathes and garland everywhere! We also got our tree on Tuesday but it has yet to get decorated! Tomorrow I plan to tackle that..... fake tree next year FOR SURE! I can't wait to see how Luke will enjoy the bright lights of the tree... he already cranes his neck to stare at the wreathes with lights on them in the house.
We are off to Dallas this next weekend to celebrate Christmas with KK, Uncle Morgan, Aunt Molly, and cousins Cade and Cole- yes that's right, Christmas already! Hopefully the drive will be as peaceful as the last. :-)
