We have talked with 4 adoption agencies and the last 2 seem very encouraging. One of the owners we met with is an adoptive parent herself and you could tell she has empathy for her customers and we wouldn't be treated like just another #. Because of our preferences and working with Texas agencies, we know we may strap in for a long wait but if we feel comfortable with team we are working with, we know it will be worth it! As we push forward, I pray for God to lead us to the agency who can find us the right child the fastest ... .and of course the most cost efficient! ;-)
We continue to talk with our fertility doctors but know now that we will press forward with adoption and if other options come our way that we want to tackle, so be it and we will cross that bridge at that time.
USAA has been keeping me crazy busy and although Chris was home from the road all week, I feel like we barely saw each other. It feels great to be needed at work, but it really gets in the way of my social life! :-) Fall is here and Chris is in Pearsall today scoping out his deer hunting land and hopefully bringing us back some firewood since it is getting a bit nippy here!
