Aloha!

Well, we had a very successful trip to Maui for our 10 year anniversary! The only reason we boarded the plane to come home was to see Luke! Next time when we take him, we may not come back! Volcanoes, amazing scenic views, sun, sand, luau's, surfing, fishing, drinking and eating FAB food- we did it all! Our little man was waiting for us in the airport with an awesome"self made" sign and we couldn't have been happier to see him!

Speaking of our little man- he is a BIG boy now! Talking so much more, doing so much more and a very determined little spirit (that is interpreted as "hard headed") :-). He is feeding himself on his own now and even though he is a big eater, he wants to everyone's food except for his! It is pretty entertaining at meal time. He started school full time this week so we could offer him more consistency and he was enjoying so much so I thought it was a good time. He has trouble with us leaving him sometimes (unless it's snack time... then he waves by by and doesn't give it another thought)!

Of course we are getting excited for Halloween.... we are going to be a Star Wars themed family (Princess Leia, Hans Solo and Luke is Chewey). I am really looking forward to trick or treating this year now that he can walk and hold his bucket out for candy- what fun!

I am still hanging on a contractor at USAA and enjoy the flexible style of my job. Chris is busy with traveling again but still entertaining some new and challenging opportunities elsewhere. Of course, he is gearing up for deer season and will be headed to the lease this coming weekend.

We are looking forward to catching up with family over the holidays and seeing Luke enjoy the new looks of the fall time of the year!
