So this is life with a toddler- who knew!

Well, it's official.... Luke does have typical toddler genes. We were beginning to worry- LOL! We returned from Hawaii, greeted by our "same ole" beautiful baby boy then days after we were introduced to "food throwing, ear piercing screams and don't hold my hand I can do it myself Luke"! Wow, what a change! We just have laugh though b/c he had been such an easy baby that we kinda felt a little cheated of some of the challenges other say they had gone through. :-) But no one was fooling me... I KNEW we had it coming. Don't get me wrong, this kid still smiles and waves at everyone (and I
mean EVERYONE) and loves to play and hug. Meal times are where we are challenged but we are working through it-together! When I am at the end of my rope, Chris takes over and when I see Chris biting his lip (tell tale sign for frustration) I take over. The hard part comes when someone is not there to take over which can be often with Chris on the road and working late nights lately. So pray for me! LOL! Halloween was soooo much fun this year. We went as a Star Wars family-Princess Leah, Hans Solo and Luke was Hans' best buddy Chewy.

Luke carried his bucket around and knew just what do when we got to each door (get candy). We went with some friends who live down the street and have a 3 year old so after many houses, they hitched a ride back in the wagon:

He also had a fun time carving pumpkins with mom and dad before we went trick or treating. We missed our adult party this year - it took us longer than anticipated to recover from Maui! Now on to the next event- Turkey Day! We are really looking forward to catching up with family and watching Luke interact with his cousins.... I know it will be fun and eventful. He is always such a joy- even when he throws food at me!
